Production Technology
The single draft was solely made for this dress, through which it was manually cut. It was then hand stitched. The fabric used is stretchable imported metallic fabric. The whole dress was completed in a week's time.
Design Challenge
This was the first dress ever made by the designer.
Project Duration
The dress was designed in India. The photo-shoot was done in Maldives. Model is Ms. Akanksha Singh, Miss Asia Awards Runner-up 2017.
Operation Flow
This dress serves dual purposes for the multitasking women. One can wear this as a casual party dress or can done it as a resort wear.
Research
The color set was selected as per Indian Mythology and Modern design practices. The draft was deigned after survey of 5 budding fashion designers.
Inspiration
The inspiration for the design comes from the precious noble metals, Gold and Silver. The dress is designed in gold, whereas detachable wrap-on is designed in silver. As per Indian Mythology, Golden color represents a symbol of success, achievement and triumph. As per modern design practices, Silver color is associated with sleek, high-tech, and modern. This design signifies both the aspects.
