Persian peacock ring inspired by the peacock. In Persian mythology, the peacock is a symbol of paradise, regality, nobility and beauty. Emerald and Sapphire present peacock's feathers in green and blue. Different software packages used for designing and 3D-modelling the ring. Then, it 3D-printed in wax and direct cast in three parts. Finally, gemstones set on the ring by using Micro-setting technique. Top of the head and eyes plated in yellow gold.

Production Technology

Design Challenge

Making a big cocktail ring in all steps is challenging. Making the high detailed and producible design on the computer, casting and mounting this piece was part of the challenge.

Project Duration

The project started in April 2019 and finished in May 2019.

Operation Flow

Using 3d modelling software packages and 3d-printing technology could help to achieve an accurate and high detailed design.

Persian Peacock Ring Ring for Women has been a Golden winner in the Jewelry Design award category in the year 2019 organized by the prestigious A' Design Award & Competition.
